AlaCOMP’s Cross Border Program helps ensure that Alabama employers have the correct coverage in place when performing operations outside of Alabama. Whether the work involves Alabama employees traveling out of state or facilities in multiple states, AlaCOMP can help ensure that your insured is covered.

A cross-border policy can be applied to Alabama businesses:

  • With at least 50% of their total payroll in Alabama
  • Can be written with a minimum payroll of $1,000 per year. 
  • AlaCOMP’s cross-border program excludes New York, California, and monopolistic states.
