Let’s talk about our AlaCOMP’s Claims Department. Our organization has many strengths, and our Claims Department being one of our greatest.
We are intentionally overstaffed so that each claim is thoroughly reviewed and handled competently and with empathy.
Our Claims Department is led by Matt Graham, an attorney, who reviews all major claims ensuring they are settled fairly and quickly. 5% of claims received are considered crucial and require increased analysis. This legal insight provides a substantial impact on the ultimate resolution of each claim.
We also have ample bench strength on our claims team. While AlaCOMP utilizes an outside bill review entity, we have experienced bill coders on staff who can negotiate directly with medical providers. This can lead to significant savings for our Members.
