Safety Video Series: Manufacturing and Industrial Walk-Throughs

The Proper Walkthrough Video Series is a three-part series to help your team conduct walkthroughs and inspections of your facilities regardless of your environment. Different environments present unique hazards and “trouble areas” that need to be addressed when conducting a workplace inspection or walkthrough. Each video in the series will give you a better understanding of the high-risk hazards present in different environments, common causes of failed workplace inspections, and ways that you can improve your inspection process to create a safer work environment for your employees.
In this video, Scott Hunter will tell you what your team should look for in a walk-through or inspection in a manufacturing facility. He will discuss what items are “low hanging fruit” in an inspection, the differences in a broad inspection and a focused inspection, and a few areas that should always be inspected during your daily walkthrough. He will also review how you can utilize the AlaCOMP Online Safety Library to improve your inspection process.
