It is NATIONAL FORKLIFT SAFETY DAY so what better to review than safety and training for Forklifts and Powered Industrial Trucks.
Don’t forget to provide proper safety and training for all employees. Remember to:
- Train workers on all site specific safety hazards such as slopes, inclines, and other hazardous areas
- Provide classroom and hands-on training to all new employees
- Re-train after any change in equipment or facilities, any observed unsafe acts, and at least every three years (minimum)
- Complete equipment inspections before each shift or change in operator.
