AlaCOMP Cross-Border Claims Reporting Guidelines
If you have a claim that occurs outside of Alabama, there are different guidelines for reporting the claim. See below for the steps to report an out-of-state claim.
- Report all claims immediately, regardless of how minor you feel the injury is.
- Complete the appropriate state First Report of Injury Form (FROI).
- If you have an out-of-state claim, send the FROI to cbclaims@alacompins.com.
- Only Alabama claims may be submitted through the online member portal. Any out-of-state claim that comes through the portal is entered as an Alabama claim, which can cause delays in the claims handling process.
