Loss Control Resources: Safety Program Assistance

AlaCOMP’s Loss Control Department offers assistance to our members on several different levels. One of the critical points we focus on when visiting a member's location is to determine if they have a strong safety program in place, or if they need to implement a safety program for the benefit of the company and its employees. The implementation of a strong written safety program is critical to the overall success of the company. A complete safety program can improve profitability by reducing accidents and injuries, and therefore reducing downtime. It also can help prevent the cost of hiring and training employees to replace injured workers, thus increasing productivity. AlaCOMP offers an online safety library to our members for free, which has templates for various safety programs that can be used to create or improve your in-house safety program.
