After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration, Stephen joined the AlaCOMP team in 2003 as a member of the Loss Control Department. In 2005, his duties expanded to include marketing responsibilities for the company, where he worked to maintain and strengthen the company’s current cliental while bringing in new business. During this time, Stephen helped facilitate a market for out-of-state exposures and implemented new marketing and underwriting strategies.
In 2007, Stephen was promoted to Vice President of Operations for AlaCOMP. With the responsibilities of overseeing the day–to–day activities of the company and its staff, Stephen strived to build brand awareness of AlaCOMP in the market place. He has also worked to earn a steady growth each year and achieved a company award of “Best Company to Work for in Alabama.” Stephen has also helped implement various claim handling techniques that ultimately reduce cost to the member. In the spring of 2013 Stephen was promoted to the title of President.
