Vice President of Loss Control
After graduating from Auburn University, Jim joined the United States Air Force where he later became an officer. After 12 years with the USAF, Jim began what would be his long-term career in human recourses and workplace safety. He gained much of his experience in this industry as Safety Manager and General Manager of an auto parts manufacturing facility in Alabama.
Jim started at AlaCOMP in 2012, and with his hard work and dedication he was promoted to Director of Loss Control in 2013. Jim’s ability to minimize risk and implement safety plans has proven to be an asset to the AlaCOMP team and its members. Jim is also a graduate of Alabama's Safe State “Train the Trainer” safety course and certified to teach OSHA courses.
